walk with the sunlight along the fairy trails, where elf lords and their ladies have danced the night away... feel the sun kissing the ferns, enticing them into song, will morning doves coo along as the redwood forest wakes stretching to touch the sky...
the molecules of your body are the same molecules that burn inside the stars themselves, we are star stuff, we are the universe trying to understand itself...LOVE,LUCK,n LAUGHTER...jc

This is a great poem to go along with this picture. I can see myself walking through it and feeling everything you expressed in the poem, and maybe some slight excitement in hopes of seeing a fairy. Beautiful job :)
A short poem which I like best is done so well Jeannemarie. The presentation of the poem along with the incredible photograph is just masterfully done.
Your flair for the dramatic write extends now into fantasy lore, with fairies and elf lords traipsing through the wooded glades, reaching for one corner of the whimsical night sky full of stars. If I am the universe trying to understand itself, I'm reaching a better understanding by reading your pieces one by one. And I thank you greatly for that! take care...dan
I'm with Maja... i instantly thought of A Midsummer Night's Dream... this is peaceful and calming...and of course, growing up in a rural village fairies were prominent entities in many stories, so when ever I read "fairy" I am instantly brought back to my grandmother's stories... enjoyed this, Jeannemarie
I appreciate what you have created here Jeannemarie but, I have a personal problem with things that are, or come across to me as too bouncy, too light, too frivolous, giddy, airy, fairygodmotherish!
This poem reminds me of A Midsummer Night's Dream, bringing into memory shimmering magic and lovely, narcotic scents. However, the last two lines felt a bit out of sync with the previous lines. Other than that, lovely writing. :)
