TIME WILL WINK

TIME WILL WINK

A Poem by jeannemarie coulter

TIME WILL WINK
feathery fronds frozen
for just an instant,
gaze at the restless face
of the pacific,
gracefully blessing
a day slowly passing...
just an instant,
a single flash
held in the eternal eye
before a casual wink
changes the pattern forever...]

Jeannemarie a snapshot of a moment when there is peaceful beauty and the winds shifts the light changes and the focus is lost. A beautiful description. Jan

A wink and a smile can make us know new hope and journey. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry my dear friend.

THE OCEAN when it is at its best can be the best quick change artist ever. The waves or lack thereof, the myriad of colors or of one single shade, the combinations of excitement and dead-fall can change within mere moments. Time will wink is a lovely write.

The camera snaps and by the time the image appears time has moved on, as it does with each and every wink of the eye... love the alliteration in the opening line and the concept of time being captured in a photo... lovely write, jeannemarie
