DESERT FIREA Poem by jeannemarie coulteran experience rememberedsummer on the coulter ranch
30 miles north west of winnwmucca standing in the center of the ranch yard holding several skittish horses snorting in the whirling swirling smoke shying and dancing atremble with fear as sheet lightning crackles and another high desert fire explodes on the rim flames licking the sky in every direction as we turn a full 360 degrees and stare in wonder at the awesome flashroarangercrackle of god and nature cleaning the desert of all dry waste perhaps a preview of dante’s hell unbound on earth as a warning to man... © 2015 jeannemarie coulterReviews
