This Time Last Year

I was falling for your ridiculous accent that I couldn't understand, most of the time.

I'd ask you, very rudely, to repeat what you'd just said because, I didn't have a f*****g clue.

But I remember everything you did say, even if I never really was listening.

Maybe another time I'll listen, if you promise to talk properly.

I fell for those thousand pound dimples, and those hideously blue eyes.

Blue eyes are sly my Mum says. I don't think you were meant to have them.

It's like you never wanted to be so aesthetically pleasing. But you are, and it’s inconvenient.

Can't believe you actually went, without me. I should've been there.

I should still.

It's your eleven minutes past eleven.

I hope you'll finally talk, coz I've got just so much to say.

Hey you, I wonder where we'll be this time next year?
