AwakeA Poem by Janine BoiselleAnother poem from a creative writing class. Written Spring 2014. This poem looked a lot cooler the way I originally wrote it. The words were put into "z"s , with the last two lines as open eyes.
The world sleeps,
but I cannot. Eyes peeled open. Red veins rakes across blank canvases. To be one with the night, my only dream, but I cannot. The world awakes. I must wait another day. I another day, must wait.
