A Fork in the Road

A poem I wrote about 6 months ago describing the place I was currently in in my life. There were two directions possible and it was literally out of my hands to decide where to go from there.

The fork in the road is approaching,
And following it, there are many to come.
My path has been predetermined,
Though I know not where it leads.

I leave it to the hands of God to guide me down this road,
And to lead me to the places that I need to go.
I begin my journey now, and if you see me again,
It's because the Lord, God almighty, said it would be so.
