Love-- A Haiku

Love, so strange and strong

It is a force uncontrolled

We can’t understand

It could create life

But it can destroy the same

If it goes unchecked

Words also matter

Some say “Hate” is much too strong

Is love not the same?

You can never be

Too sure when it comes to the

Matter of your heart

For, I have been hurt

Once, but one too many times

Now, it’s hard to trust.
