Notice

Notice

A Poem by Jess Rose

It’s funny the things people notice.

The ripples of the leaves as the wind blows through the trees.

The color of a stranger’s eyes.

We all notice different things.

Our brains all run differently.

I might notice something that never crossed your mind.

The shape of a face.

The twitch of a hand.

We all think.

We all notice.

What do you notice?

Oh this is gorgeous - really makes me think about things in a way that not many things can. I especially love how the poem grabs your attention and then leaves the reader with a question, leaves them to wonder about what they notice. Short poem, but it gets to the point quickly and conveys a message brilliantly in such a short amount of time. Great job, keep up all the good work.
