New Love

New Love

A Poem by Jessica
"

With the excitement of new love, comes the fear of the unknown.

"
My eyes: the sun
your eyes: the moon
your heart beats, to my hearts tune
fasten the pace as our excitement grows,
where this is headed, no one knows.
Dont be scared, just give in.
I'll jump too, just say when.

Haven't written anything in a while. I haven't felt inspired in a long time. I finally am starting to feel inspiration again. What do you think?

Holy mole! This warrants the brevity presented on the page. Nothing else needs be said - you say everything that needs to be said, and brilliantly - profoundly! Love it! Not sure whether it was intentional to have no apostrophe with "hearts" but that's kind of required and not sure if it could work without. The comma on that same line also works without (but you can let that stay as a means to add a breath - normally I would just keep the thought intact and allow the musicality to stop where it would, but adding commas to split the thoughts is poetically acceptable too). Brilliant poem! Absolutely wonderful!

Absolutely beautiful, I couldn't tell that you haven't written in awhile. This is too true and very easy to relate to. I loved it!
