Christmas

Christmas

A Poem by A.J. Alexander
"

Just great.

"

I do hope you are enjoying yourself tonight,
dancing with your honey in the red-and-limelight
You move as if you own the world beneath your feet
while I stumble, drunk, down the cold December street
You know that if I drink, it's for a damn good reason
So, dear, enjoy your f*****g holiday season

I can see the speaker leaving this behind for the woman who left him, if that's the case. It was a charming read. It rhymed, but with tact and humor. I dig.
