This is for the child,
who dreamed of being someone.
Her dream of becoming a hero -
she'd get it in the long run.
For the young woman who made it,
it's always been her destiny.
She'd dream of fighting for this country,
to live a life, happy and free.
For the soldier who fought loyally,
though remorsefully taking lives.
Her childish dreams vanished,
crumbled right before hes eyes.
For the girl who barely slept,
clinging the rifle faithfully.
But tonight she only dreamed,
of her once happy family.
This is for the fallen soldier,
who cried on the cold, hard floor.
Tonight she was a child again,
and she dreamed there was no war.
