Walk on the Water

Tried a different concept this time around

This question is often asked:

How could anyone walk on the water?

 

Well, it starts with having to immerse yourself

In the very thing you wish to walk on

Giving yourself and having no doubts in your heart

The doubt is what weighs most down

And makes this feat nearly impossible

When we make this plunge

When me finally gather up all that courage that it will ever take

To make anything we would ever want for ourselves

In this life, in this world

Happen not just for anyone

But for someone important

You…

We make that ultimate choice

The ultimate act of faith

Holding the hand of something invisible

But having a conviction that it is there

And making that jump on nothing but the feeling of faith

That what you do feel holding your hand

Will guide you always

Letting you know

You are never alone

Leaving all our fears

Our scars, our past

Behind us

No longer tormenting us

To be given a brand new start

That’s all we could ever ask for

Isn’t it?

But this is what happens when we

Decide to surrender our hearts and souls

To someone who knows best

But now we stand

Someone new, lifted and awakened

And rising to the sun to step up to our destiny

And now…

We have a Brother holding out right hand

To give us a example

A ghost forever filling our hearts and souls

To make is light and graceful as we walk on faith

And a Father walking behind us to make sure we don’t fall

And that is how miracles happen

That’s how we can walk on the water

Great piece.
(i have learned something from your poem.You know Every miracle Jesus did had a meaning.Peter walked on water too but for just some few steps because of his little faith he started to sink. .I think when you are pure and have a lot of faith you can walk on water.You can walk on any trouble, any disease, anything that people never thought of.
