Staircase

this was written for the poetry slam at my school and I finally found it and this was my last poem since my writers block took over my mind

Looking up

Looking down

Looking all around

Surround myself in this

Canyon walls go on forever

The little pieces of sand squesh

Between my little toes

My happiness could never be fizzled

No pitch of my piano can hit any higher

Than this feeling I have

I just keep going up and along

The staircase of life

I sit here, quiet and happy

Look out into the sunset

And think...

My life is a beach

And happiness is my sea

Just letting you know, they gave us six words to use to make this poem and they were: Surround, Pitch, Canyon, Staicase, Fizzle, Sand
Also it would be great if you could help me find another name for this poem...mine doesn't seem to fit right
