I Pray The End Is Near

I Pray The End Is Near

A Poem by ~jay-pee~>

I PRAY THE END IS NEAR

Hands upon my face, I kneel before my bed.

Lacking any faith, For what may lie ahead.

Absence of emotion, Numbed from what I know.

Sickened by the notion, I have no where left to go.

Strength not within me, Weakness settling in.

Hands falling freely, Feel the bed beneath my chin.

My eyes slightly open, Too blurry now to see.

What I am now hoping, Will be the end for me.

Take me now I pray, Can't breathe another breath.

I do not wish to stay, All I want is death.

Death will come when he desired. You create a sad vision with your words. I have met people with no desire to go forward. They thought death was peace. I told them "what is next is unknown? You may find true hell in the next place." I do pray to nature and earth. Life is long. There will be the good days that need to hold on to. Sad part of life. The bad things overcome all the good we have known. A very strong poem. You made me think.
