God's Spider

God's Spider

A Poem by julian
"

A critique of man's understanding toward divine design, the ambiguity of love, and God's way to man.

"
Hello travelling spider
On this tracked floor
Of this grand room

Vast is this ocean air
With heaven far
My body mountains high
Feet descend thunderous
Without a God to bear thee

Worry not of Him for
I am here
As good as He
In heart but refined
In care

Quick!
A shelter to forge
A glass to house thee
Where no wind will take thee
Rain nor thunder
Shall befall thee
Little gentle travelling spider...

Firm with care
The glass surrounded
The traveler
And God wept
Eternal sorrow for
The infinite living
Was dead.
