Unconditional?

Unconditional?

A mothers love is unconditional... Right?

She loves you no matter what.... Right?

I wonder why a mothers love is "unconditional"

Is it became we came from her?

Is it because she raised us?

Is it because it's her job?

So the question remains is a mothers love unconditional?

I fear the answer is no

until the day my mother proves me wrong

There's a depth in this you're just starting to scratch at. Poetry isn't exactly my specialty but I'd say this could definately be built on. You hint at a major, major conflict here and I think it could be a really intriguing poem if you lay everything out. Why are you questioning unconditionality? What's come between the mother and her child?
