The Northern Lights AngelA Poem by jay geenenA poemThe Northern Lights Angel Angels danced in the sky Northern lights shone from up high Star light sparkled in Angel’s hair As angel wings moved through the air. Sandi and I looked up in awe At spectacular sights untold We voyaged through time As angels danced in the sky. What could God’s plan be? For two lonely pilgrims Like Sandi and me. But for a moment we just watched Angels dance. Reality came soon enough But for a moment Angels danced What a show to behold As Angels dance on high Northern lights shone from afar Powerful energies we can not yet understand In undulating waves through the air To make angel wings dance in the sky I held my love in my arms And Sandi held me For a brief moment Angels danced for us in the sky Angles dance in the air To let us know we are here For but a brief moment we could watch No fireworks could possibly match The show the Angels put on for us From many miles above the earth Angels danced for us. Angels flying high in the sky Silently calling our names Asking Sandi and I To hug and hold each other.
