I wrote this for Thanksgiving, for my special mother.

Thank you, Mom,

for taking me in

so long ago.

If it had not been for you,

love would have been

something that I would not know.

 

God chose you,

you did the rest.

Of all of the mothers in the world,

you have always been the best.
