Communicate

It can be so easy it's difficult for so many people

What we have here is a failure to communicate

Silence from both sides leads to behavior akin to reprobates

Misunderstanding thrives

Unable to realize

That a solution to the problem is simple

Just come to a compromise

Neither willing to budge

Caught in their own stubborn sludge

Infuriating, makes blood pressure rise

An object of affection, now you just despise

Unmovable refusal to see another point of view

Leads to stress and misery

And all you can blame is you.

We’re promised trouble on our plate

That’s not up for debate

So why add to the problems

When it’s easy to resolve them

What we have here is a failure to communicate.
