The Cap

The Cap

A Poem by Jay Steitler
"

Aquatic nature in all its drama

"
I am the breaker,
rolling like a stone, and roiling through life.

I collect very little.

Separate yet one,
with brothers in silent turmoil.

I conform with my surroundings,
until energy overtakes me.

Then I pound, and reshape,
all in my wake.

I like this very much. Our spirituous nature often captures this feeling. While temporarily broken, we will burst forth again. Great job!

I am really enjoying this newly risen "voice" of yours. I think it's always been your voice. It was just silenced for a while in the thunderstorm.

Very apt description of a wave hitting the land. :) It compares a person to a wave and I can really see the comparison
