A Poem by jaxon586

Crawl under this bridge

To reap what I’ve sewn

Show the time lapsing

In waves crashing

Before my eyes

As I gaze upwards

Thoughts traveling

Only outwards

To realize

The original gas

Of this musty life

Worn in accordance

A full body mask

And shredded in light

This dreamer’s fault

Recognize my ambitions

So tenderly sought

For my eyes only hide

The truth of this matter

In true aspect, I can not remember

Or recall the mistakes broken

In overboard hearing

My sentences start dissipating

And losing all meaning

As your eyes glare

Down at me

From this ceiling

Caught in my strings

Tangled and tripping

I could try to untie

This mess of wires

This building full

Of only liars

Though this spindling plain

And planet set still

Will only rupture

Sullen and vain

Arch of umbrella

Covered from rain

To salt my wounds

And gravel down

As a square wheel

That wouldn’t turn

But only remain

Bend out the stripes

Running from their point

Now an endless journey

Ever heading straight

While upon the bridge

I’m collapsing under

They all meet

To take their places

Above on their thrones

Such formal debate

Temporary lapsing

And lacking heart beat

With only money

Worthless drones

Come up

And off your high horse

Return below

Sloppily come to bask

Repent and reap what you sew
