Always hoping for a better future....

 

If you could see the world

With my eyes and heart and soul

And, God, to step outside of me

To see our common goal

Have shared thoughts and visions

One mind, no indecisions

No this or that, no thin or fat

No rights or wrong, no short or long

Indifference to difference, passion for compassion

Hatred for the hatred and action for inaction

If we could work together

Share our hopes, our dreams and fears

Then maybe we have time

To dry collective tears.
