The Shadows of the SunA Poem by JasperA special moment between two people
Cotton dress, swaying in the warmth of the breeze, Tugging against the skin of your thighs, Bare arms, summer coloured skin, Flaxen hair across your face, Lips parted gently, Naked feet. Come to me, Take my hand my sweet, Let me wrap you in my warmth, Encompass you with my soul, Feel the soft caress of my lips on yours, Feel my body arch, my sweet breath on your neck. Straps slip from your shoulders, hands across your breast, Eyes like embers, glowing with untapped passion, Your softness against my chest, Mouth pressed to mouth we collapse, In breathless wonder, Lost in us. We are one, Our bodies on fire, Staring into each other, Not daring to look away, The wonder we feel in our soul’s core, Giving ourselves completely to the rapture, Breathing together our bellies move as one, Your legs round my hips holding me in, My face over yours, touching, Fingers intertwined, touching, Sweat down my spine runs, Glistening in sun. Two hearts beat, Two souls dance in joy, In this summer glade, shaded Trees cast cool shadows on us, Sharing one moment, one thought, one life, Hearts slow, blood flows, we sigh in absoluteness. We are the same, But now forever changed, By the shadows of the sun. © 2008 Jasper |
