I haven't read this in three years and it seems so important now.

When it grows dark and you feel the storm approach
That’s when I need you the most
In your weakest moments when all seems to be lost
Those are the times when I cling to you with an ever closer need

Like a vampire in reverse I want to squeeze you
And drain myself into you so completely

Whatever tempest comes whatever future battles rage

So however long it takes no matter the wait
I’ve seen you at your best and your true strength
Comes in the way you love and the way you bear your soul
In those moments when it’s just you and I you shine bright as gold

You are ever my muse and you must understand
Just how much it means to be loved by you
To be the one who carries your heart in my hand
You place so much faith in me every time you look in my eyes
So I will always cherish that come what may
Face every fear you meet with me at your side

Because I believe in you and I know that love can save
So many times we have to fight against the world
From the moment of birth to the grave
You are not alone I will give you all that I can
