Poetic DeathA Poem by JC
Afghanistan
Should have given me Many things to write about. Instead, now everything seems So trivial comparatively. I long for those naive days Of a naive boy who looked At everything in the world with Wondrous intrigue.. A dark cold envelopes me, Sympathy becomes suspicion.... Frozen in existential pain I long to know nothing again. I don't even know the purpose Of these pointless words.... © 2021 JCFeatured Review
