Dragging OnA Poem by JC
The weekends are over
Before they start And I'm just as tired by Monday. The weeks moan and drone And drag along without change, A skipping record playing the Same monotonous tune Again and again. I haven't the will or the courage To jump into the fray, Even as my spirit screams it's waning.. I search beyond the yawn And see only more of the same How long can I endure Before the lonely madness Manifests into a living insanity... If you are out there, Please save me from myself.... © 2021 JCReviews
