I own you because I have to have you.
I am selfish and greedy for you.
I own you because every cell in my being
Is attuned to your flirtatious submission.
I own you because your a*s is in the air
As you stare back at me with passionate contempt,
A snarl and a lick like the animal you are
That stirs the animal in me.
You have me tugging at the leash to mount you,
To bite that soft neck
So that you cannot get away from the throbbing spear
I roughly, and without care, stab between your legs.
I own you and I'd rather eat you alive than let you get away.

something is happening here, I feel, that is both vehement and possessive; sexual and indelicate.
Like eating a raw oyster for the first time. You know it might taste good if you only get it past
that gag reflex. I do believe that poetry is about the enormousness of everything. Every act.
Every human engagement. And so do you JC.

But, as some person use to tell me, ownership is 90 percent possession anyways. But this the poem
that pulls you closer to the HP monitor and while you stumble away to bed you remind yourself,
that it was just a poem.
