This is it

I sit in bars and

passenger seats

restaurants and

living rooms,

listening to misery

from my friends

and I always say the

same thing...

"You cannot handle 

the guilt that 

comes with living 

for you

and you alone..."

You have one life...

mortality is real...

there is nothing beyond this...

live....

This piece clearly shows what a positive outlook you have on life.
Its inspiring and what u said is true.
sometimes people take life for granted. I know I do.
Although every now and again its good to look back at life and see the positive things in it.
To think, as you said. I only have one life so i should live it to the fullest.

it has been proven that elephants are just as intelligent as us. And yet they leave hurriedly and secretly
out of sight of man and his chariot driven heaven; laced with ivory and gold/.
I stayed up well past one am listening to a friend tell me how her man was socking her around
like George Foreman socked around Smokin Joe Frazier. Until I told her to "just live baby".
Enjoy what life is left. By then the "Tonight" show was over and it was easy to sleep.

Yes, yes, yes, yes!
I agree with every single word in this piece.
People like to comfort themselves with notions of
afterlife, heaven etc but accepting
at least the POSSIBILITY of nothing after this,
makes the life you fell into that much more precious.
We might better look after it, and one other, if we fully
appreciated the fragile nature of existence.
