dear player

dear player

A Poem by Jazmyne

 Dear cheater,

You tell her again
"I'm in love with you"
But how many others
Are you saying that too?

Your just a player
And life is a game
They think that you're different
But your just the same

So lets play a game
A game of pretend
But it all could happen
You don't know how it will end

You meet a girl today
As cute as she could be
You charmed your way into her heart
How could she disagree?

You tell her that you love her
Her and only her
But in this game of make believe
The truth is just a blur

She is just a lover
So it couldn't hurt
You met a new cutie today
So you decide to flirt

So you tell her that you love her
Her and her alone
Charmed your way back to her place
Cause your other girls at home

You woke up this morning
With One at your side
If she knew your a cheater
I'm sure she would have died

She would have died
It's just an expression
Realistically what could happen?
Maybe a case of depression?

Realistically maybe
But this game is pretend
So continue the story
It's almost at it's end

So you tell One you love her
And you go for a drive
Lies you tell her, dear reader
Is whats keeping her alive

But here those lies don't matter
She knows you lied to her
Poor girl number One
Didn't know the truth was just a blur

You woke up this morning
Next to girl number two
She just so damn cute
What else could you do?

You go home to number One
But she had lost all hope
You find that your ex-lover
Had a date with a certain rope

She was just a lover
But that left more than a sting
Wasn't she just part of your game?
How many points did that lover bring?

How the hell did One find out?
And did she tell number Two?
I thought that you were good at games
I'm not surprised that thats untrue

This morning you left Two
Snuggled in her sheets
You open that bedroom door again
Her blood is pooling at your feet

A scream escapes from your lips
And you wake up from that game
Girl number 1 is laying next to you
Tossing in her sleep

Tell yourself that wouldn't happen
Tell yourself she wouldn't have died
Not in ways of life and death
But you killed her on the inside

Reader can you hear it?
Can you hear her heart beat?
She found out your a cheater
Thats why she can't sleep

How many people
Has your little game hurt?
But they are just lovers
So its ok to flirt?

But did you know you killed her
Look deep into those eyes
Can you see the hanging rope
In the tears she cries

Is life your little game now?
Don't worry your still a winner
But think about this little game we had
Before you ask girl number Three for dinner

This definitely blew me away! Totally blew me away! If only cheaters and 'players' would read this poem before they do something foolish; hopefully they will think twice. There are so many consequences in the end when being a cheater or player. It's not a path someone should go down; i dont care how hot or ugly a person is lol. It's just common sense to do the right things in life! Simple as that. Ugh, this world, i swear, bleh- just makes me sick hehe. This was really amazing!! Im totally speechless hehe. Im so with you on this one! Great, great, great words!!! :) :)

"Dear Player" was an intense and emotional look into a woman's feelings towards a man who has cheated on her and others. It's not generic, you don't just say: "karma will come back to you" etc. you explain it that "her blood is a pool at your feet."

best line:

"Can you see the hanging rope
In the tears she cries?"

(very original. and a good read.)

Damn girl you really let it out on this one... you certainly depicted the essence of some people out there that just trample on others feelings only caring bout getting what they want which usually is power and self confidence... Been a while since i seen something from you and you return with a big bang ;-)
