Final hours

Final hours

A Poem by Jasmin Vieira

1 I race Through the trees
trying to breathe
2 I stop... I drop
Will it all end here?
3 I start to feel numb
4 I hear my soul crying out to me
5 my vision start to fade
6 a black swirl of nothing
7 I'm floating in a black world
8 I hear loud thumping
trying to cover my ears
9 I see my family
10 I’m dead

Jasmin Vieira
This was the very first poem I wrote. I was thirteen years old in my middle school poetry class. I think it's worth sharing and speaks volumes about me...
