A Poem by jasmine_x
"

not really sure, just something i felt :/

"

Why should I pretend I’m happy? This smile on my face is fake
Why do I cry during the nights I lie awake?
Why should I hurt myself? Why should I cry?
Why do I love you? Why should I try?
I don’t understand what I’ve done for you to hate me?
.. The scars don’t heal, the pain won’t go.
The things you’ve made me do; only I will know.
You say you love me, let me know when... when you decide for it to show.

I love this, it feels real. A lot of poems like this that I've read are written by people who've not actually experienced the emotion, and you can tell in their work. Great poem ^^

I love the emotion and conflict that is portrayed in this poem. It feels real and convincing. I've favourited it. I'm also loving the emphasis on the why's/
