Celluloid ThoughtsA Poem by JarraiA poem based on a strange dream I had a while ago.
I remain, questioning, Contemplating constantly tenebrous consistencies Then wonder wistful, Do cancer cells ponder their existence?
Surly they know, Even if acting upon simple chemical impulses.
What of free will? Who’s to say that it’s any more free? Compared to those we cannot see.
May we be part of, Mere cells with thought, Of a celestial organism? Our lives basic processes of the whole. What then of God, Allah, Jehovah? Just primordial pontiffs of patience?
Remains the questioning, my curiosity enthralled as, A deadly beldame chides, The belligerent caprice of desire.
Just what is destined to become destiny?
Revealing ribald reveries reveling beyond the gates of consciousness Subconsciously connecting the variable lost within veritable viscera
Left dormant under my doormats caress Until Gollhovah garners the generous duress,
Whose disease,
Kills with ease,
Displacing faith,
Within the cells that wonder.
Trying woefully with rue, to localize illogical scions Implanted only to control the common
Alas, I merely remain, a cell intent to question the body
Adrift in a theoretically Heretical reality.
