HaikusA Poem by Jared_LaskowskiSO I really enjoy haikus because there is something so poetic about having to convey a mood or evoke an image while being limited to the amount of syllables. Here is some of my personal best.Haikus Sleeping with the moon Awakening with the sun Lifetime ritual Plucking string by string Making harmonious songs Conjures joy in all Looking to the stars The universe shares it all Each star has a tale. Lonely little leaf Falling to a river's flow A journey awaits Life is connected Like strands of a spider web All part of one whole The old man sits down Listening to the world And says not a word The ocean and the moon Caught in an eternal sway Known as yin and yang A man all alone Must face his greatest challenge Conquering himself A misguided soul Has not a destination Only a journey A broken man's faith Tis an honest testament Of desperation
