almost shipwrecked

today, surrounding waters crash ferociously
and i stand trapped in a veiling mist

if my mighty ship could speak to me
she'd scream from her very core
her voice roaring up her greatest mast
and rippling through her mightiest sail,

"Time perpetually unravels
yet this path be finite
while your vessel still soundly travels,
you must persist and fight."
