The timesA Poem by jaredcp25when we loved eachotherhoped on a plain and saw the world you grew old and weary , I grew old and bold I could smell the ocean across a thousands seas could taste your lips with every breeze counting flower pedals bleeding from thorns separated, my heart is torn I see the sun reflect as your blonde hair glows your finger tips are like an electric volt your grew weary and grew old I grew older and more bold we made promises to true to keep I wrote name in the sand on every beach I claimed mountains as you stood cold we were done forever this I was curtain abbreviate to me all your thoughts running from the shadows until your caught i saw the world you fell apart we both grew older so did our hearts and when wind blows I taste your lips we still fight through waves currents and rips you grew weary I grew bold we grew older love turned to stone
