I live in the dark

I live in the dark

A Poem by JRB
"

Because I can, I do and others have, its just how long is the difference.

"

I live in the dark
That is where I ran
I live in the dark
Because I can

I live in the dark
To know who I am
I live in the dark
That is not of this land

I live in the dark
To see no light
I live in the dark
Some say is not right

I live in the dark
That is my inner delight
I live in the dark
I offer no fight

I live in the dark
Where worlds lit
I live in the dark
Most see as unfit

I live in the dark
Worlds are split
I live in the dark
Who gives a s**t,

I live in the dark
Where others do not shine
I live in the dark
Where most would whine

I live in the dark
It is my time
I live in the dark
With reason and rhyme

I live in the dark
and my love radiates
I live in the dark
Where my love penetrates

I live in the dark
Others wonder why
I live in the dark
I do not cry

I live in the dark
It is safe for me
I live in the dark
That is my reality

I live in the dark
For my sanity
I live in the dark
There is no vanity

I live in the dark
Bring me your mind
I live in the dark
Just leave me a sign

I live in the dark
I call it divine
I live in the dark
That you cannot find

Its name is freedom, its course is justice and its reward is truth.
I live in the dark and that is my proof.
