Separation

Our first look Was just a glance

Our first look
Was just a glance
At the brilliance
Of a love
Staring back
Therefore
It became
An independent
Infinite stare

To know
Or
Not to
Is the first fruit
Of sowing
Toward your being

All the while hoping
To find that mystical place
In your heart
A place where roses
Are white
Even black

Yet seldom
In neither a union
Nor separated
But rather representing
Their beauty together
Yet still alone

Different to each other’s ways
As they may be
They can complement
Each other together
Side-by-side
In their beauty
This is how
We both shall be
To each other

As two roses of different colors maturing and blossoming side-by-side, while sharing their unique existence, to experience with each other. Yet holding fast to their individualism, so shall we in our life position together. For this is an appropriate aim for love as well as life, separation thru unity.
