"

3

The amount of trust
Attached
With our self-confidence
Will determine
Just how far
How long
Those sharing
Caring
Loving moments
Will travel forth

One can only hope
That behind this
Veiled emotion
Of uncertainty
There is a chance
That this
Might be
Their destiny

Or
At least a stop
On the way
Toward it
Are they showing
Us
Our destiny
As well

Therefore
For now the stillness
Of this night
Is a messenger
Between
Our two worlds
The ones in which
Our souls
Our spirits

Meet
On the outer edge
Of one’s
Imagination
Those worlds,
That lay between
Reality and fantasy
Where both exist
To be experienced

Bearing messages
Even truer than those
Songs sung by angles
Beneath the fullness
Of a new moon
Holding all spell-bound
As they gaze
Thoughtfully
Towards a diamond-studded
Black velvet sky

As with fate, the inevitable has willed that our souls placed in the passion prison of our bodies. So does love decree, that we shall be its prisoners as well. All held within its prison, confined in the interior of our minds, thus becoming prisoners of its ways, willingly, openly and trustfully.

I wonder once about the relationship between the words passion and patience . . . the common root means 'to suffer'

"The diamond studded Black velvet sky"- a sky filled with possibility and mystery. This spoke to what I have been experiencing in such a profound way! I love this one because it resonated deep within me.
