My Gifts From Heaven

I can live with nothing but not without them..

When you were sent from above
     my arms were not ready to catch
For I was holding on both hands
     my dreams you were about to snatch.
Yet, I was not able to let you fall
     to take your life away
As my heart was saying
     that you were meant for me.

And when I heard you cry
     as you lay upon my arms
My heart beat a strange melody
     that it had never ever done
It awakened my nerves 'til the corner of my eye
     that my tear found a chance
To wash the anxieties and doubts away
     and show the happiness that comes.

When your little finger held mine
     I know I'll never let you go
And when you opened your eyes
     I saw my new world with you.
You're more than any dream
     this I want you to know
That your coming into my life
     is worth all the dreams come true.

Now, you are the air that I breathe
     the dew on my dry petals
The warm ember of hope and strength
     in a freezing snow of trials
Your laughters were music
     that cheers my lonely soul
To be triumphant and proud
     in defeating life's struggles.

You are my life
     the light of my world
My love for you
     is more than any word
You are the precious treasures
     I will forever keep
For God had sent you for me
     as His most wonderful gift.
