I want to write something for Him

                               A Writer's Prayer

I want to write something for You
Something that speaks the words of my soul
To shout out loud the whispers of my heart
And to brighten the letters of my faith.
Guide my hand as I slowly move my pen
To perfectly write Your will.
Show me the miracle that was always there
In the creative prints of its ink.
Writing is the passion that's burning inside me
That fuels the engine of my dreams
Let my mind and hands be Your servant
To spread Your love and glorify Your name.

Let  my pen pour out words of encouragement
To strengthen me in every life's struggle
Fill my mind, Oh Lord, with a piece of your wisdom
To start with the best word and finish with a perfect line.
Inspire my heart with the beauty of Your creation
Let my fingers click the keys for its magnificent description.
My lips can't find the way to say "forgive me"
But my pen asked for it with my heart's sincerity,
I've printed in a paper all my thanks to You
Trying to find a chance that someday the world will know
How You gloriously ruled the precious pen
Of an aspiring writer to complete this prayer.

All the glory is Yours, dear Lord.

I like this. I used to write poems and things based mostly on depression and sadness. But now i want to write for a greater purpose. I hope and pray that i write things that praise Him and that will encourage others and i find that i encourage myself as i do.

Well, sometimes we really need to free ourselves from loneliness even for just a moment. And my way of doing it, is to think of Him and His wonderful creation..and suddenly it's good vibes and inspiring thoughts.
