Clouds

Clouds

A Poem by Janesy

I will carry you away, I will sail with you,
and should these burdens get too heavy,
I will cast them into,
this vanishing thin air, the one we spoke of,
beyond the dark clouds and somewhere beneath the ocean blue,
I will watch and I will count each passing second it took,
for every drop of tear to evaporate and condense above us,

to form these oddly shaped dark clouds.
to form these cloudy reminders to remember.

But no don't let the dark clouds rain on us, not tonight, dear lord,
Don't let our sail sink with these burdens, not tonight, dear lord,
Find us that map, please,
to a time that came before me, where you came before you. Let it be us.
Not against the world, but in hiding.
Let this burden-filled ocean take its lead, lead us back home.

but do remember to keep it within the dark clouds.
but do remember to keep it until that missing rainbow shine right through our eyes...

here comes the sun.
