Small partsA Poem by JanesyGone, like the wind.
If your eyes shine brighter today,
remember it wasn't me who gave you away, us two birds were never meant to be on the same wire, they grave diggers knew, so they led us into the fire. oh, love is a form of combustion. Should you play another love song, I promise to turn off my thoughts and sing along. Without feeling. Without rhythm. do you remember, our national anthem? Keep quiet. Just keep quiet. And let our emotions run like pretty raindrops, over us. Today, history has fade to dust. Laugh up a storm, mock me for the wrongs, Is this where hate belongs? Surely I am not sure. But you, you loved me once. we had wine and we danced, And we loved until, we finally, no longer loved at all. Small parts. © 2010 Janesy |
