Shuffling feets

Shuffling feets

Round and about, a girl with her doubts.
In and now out, a frown, then a pout.
Lips are sealed, forever yours for keeps.
Have it signed, her tomorrows grace your feet.

Deliver it well and deliver it good.
Float with caution, then toast to the mood.
Certainties, the kind of special certain,
One undivided lesson, a thought put into action.

Figures, a passing trend of a man,
A silent tunnel plan, a weekend to attend.
Dear Promised, does hands to hold ring a bell?
Dear Ferocious, haven't you been to hell?

If only it was this easy,
That baileys, no one should ever have downed.
If only she washed her dirty laundry,
that smile would have never let her down.

Was it I?

Count the numbers, then count the dust.
Count the sweetness, then count the rust.
Suspended, oh, envy.
One for the careless, two for the messy.
