MAUUUUA Poem by mynameisyouThe duties of a motherMa is a woman of stamina at any moment she could be found nursing an infant only to be rudely interrupted by a trail of toddlers bawling a husband always complaining.
She knows no comfort comes to the one who frets so she remains content in her life dealt: voices complaining, demanding phones ringing, doors slamming.
At days end she'd hurry herself along to Family night at school the boys basketball game back home to plait the girls hair before bed.
Finally she closes her eyes her mind still roaming quietly, lovingly listening for that sweet sound. "Mauuu!"
