THE DELIVERY

THE DELIVERY

A Poem by mynameisyou
"

Poem about child birth

"

The mother went to the hospital

    to deliver.

But they couldn't induce labor; due

    to a ruptured

membrane  guaranteed a dry birth.

The father did his part: dabbed sweat, fed

   ice chips.

The tears trickling down his face

    a blended language.
