About another man's wife...A Poem by janemariaBeing jealous about others
You will see me nowhere.
Neither on the stage, Nor behind the curtains. Find me. I'm in the audience, One among the face, One - which you never looked back twice. Convieniently blended in the backseat. Wait. Did you see me hooting? Wrong. Or waving? Wrong again. I'm a frozen fellow at 12 noon, With a sun heated overhead. Blind to the songs of the stage, Or the chants of the claps around. What I only feel is - wrath Wrought in envy and misery. Lunging from the crowd for a loot - Of another man's wife. © 2018 janemariaAuthor's Note
