You Touched Me

You touched me
when you looked into my eyes
and I saw that little grin
with a light of surprise

You touched me
when you felt that I was sad
and you put your arm around me
wiped my tears and said it's not all bad

You touched me
when you tease and play games
and tell me that everything about me
is as important as simply knowing my name

You touched me
when you didn't say a word
when you looked into my heart
and it was your love I heard

You touched me
with your heart and soul so true
and I know this is forever
that I'll be loving you
