A Yuletide encounter
Soft fleece covered baby feet creep toward the tree could she catch a glimpse of Santa? she had missed him last year. Everyone else was sleeping dreaming peacefully in their beds she was determined to catch a view of the man in red Ever so little was the patter of her feet just a few more steps and it would be hard for him to retreat without being caught Her eyes grew wide as she espied a big jolly fellow a long curly hair and suit his cheeks were rosy and eyes shimmered as snowflakes caught up in cerulean twine she stared at him he stared at her they both started to giggle to see his face full of sugar cookie crumbs as quick as a firefly he winked at her with one eye set the present down and left whooshed up the chimney as fete considering big feet and the expansion of his girth she heard him say goodnight sweet child may your Christmas wishes all come true now on Donner, On Blixen on Rudolph on Vixen we still have much to do © 2013 jane7zReviews
