Christmas Hymn 2

Christmas Hymn 2

A Poem by jane7z

Christmas Hymn 2

Merry Mary
Gods own son
Was born in a stable
This day

No mistletoe
Or brights lights glowed
In the manger where he lay

No silver bells
But angels wings
Hover tinkling above

Three wise men
Shepherds peasants
Were all the audience he
Would need

Gold frankincense and myrrh
Instead of a crown
A fragile babe
Came into this world alone
To save
A dying world

The King of Kings
Of humble birth
Born of a virgin mother

Was sent with Love
From God above
Who is our Heavenly Father

Let love in your hearts abound
Remembering His great gift
Life sacrifice on a tree
At the age of thirty three
So we might abundantly live

Precious Christ child we remember you tonight
We look in the sky
For a sign
Star of David
Come cast a glimmering light
O'er our lives at Christmas time
So the light of Your love
Through us shines
