Sour Taste on My LipsA Poem by jane7z2008 Another for Christopher Robin
We said we would stay friends
no matter what well no matter what has come and where are you? My stupidity pushed you away Unready and closed off more than I knew my inquistiveness and prodding going into no woman's land those questions we ponder but are not supposed to ask When did the feelings fade my dear? Is she really just a friend darlin? Why did we get to that wall of connection and then become divided not even friends that's what hurts the loss too much loss and loneliness she can have your kisses I desired your companionship My vulnerable openess was too threatening for you now you are no long my friend no matter what just simply isn't true © 2013 jane7z |
